A collaboration between Oslo Internasjonale Teaterfestival / Black Box teater and Points communs, Nouvelle scène nationale de Cergy-Pontoise et Val d’Oise.
Allegedly is performed by a group of sixteen women, based in Delhi and other cities in India, who all login live on Zoom to have a conversation. Built as an ongoing negotiation with understanding questions of consent, Allegedly seeks to spark conversations at the intersection of sexual violence, justice and our personal predicaments. Allegedly turns the Zoom room into a dynamic space for togetherness – by interacting with the audiences through the Zoom poll option, they create a temporary community, and a space for care and intimacy. Being a work in eternal progress, it opens up the contradictions, confusions and irregularities of our own behaviours and solidarities. Allegedly unfolds the layers of violence and the complexity of owning one’s own story.
The performance is accessible wherever in the world you are, and it begins at 6PM CET / 5 PM GMT.
